John Vlahakis was born in Philadelphia, PA. As a second generation American, and having had grandparents who emigrated from Greece, he understands the perspective of those who come to America from elsewhere. Vlahakis attended David Lipscomb High School in Nashville, TN, graduating in 1978. Vlahakis received his undergraduate degree from the Harding University, majoring in Public Administration. In 1983, Vlahakis received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law. For his first 36 years as an attorney, he worked at a respected defense law firm, becoming a partner. Vlahakis has chosen to join The Law Offices of John Morrison, LLC, where he utilizes his wealth of knowledge and experience in workers’ compensation law to help injured workers. Vlahakis has successfully handled numerous trials and hearings, obtaining millions of dollars in compensation for his clients. He is known and respected throughout the legal community for his comprehensive legal experience and professionalism.
